Just finished up on this commission for a couple who travelled the North Coast 500 by campervan in Scotland. From Inverness to Skye via some of the best memories Scotland has to give.
This hand drawn piece was created with Sakura Pigma micron pens for the detail, ink wash for the coast and a Posca marker for the nice Scottish blue route line, on 30x40cm Hahnemühle Britannia paper.
The commission coincided with our own similar trip which took us to the Outer Hebrides via Loch Ness & Skye, so I had plenty of inspiration while finishing the piece on our return.
I’ve made a start on a digital illustration for our own trip that I’m working on in Procreate now 😊
Beautiful part of the world, highly recommend a visit. A few photos from our trip below.
